A: Great news! There are no credit checks required to qualify for a wellness plan. All you need is a valid payment card to put on file with Snout. Our goal is to make wellness accessible to all pet owners.

Q: Can I use Snout to pay for sick visits?
A: You can choose to either split the payment between wellness and non-wellness items, or opt to use Snout for the full payment of all services. Snout automatically processes invoices, covering the costs of exams and any additional services included in your wellness plan. For any non-wellness items on the invoice, charges will be directly applied to the card you have on file. This ensures a billing process that is both transparent and straightforward.

Example: If you bring your pet in for a sick visit to have their ears checked and choose to pay with your Snout membership, the invoice breakdown might appear as follows:

Exam: $62

Ear Medication: $20

Total: $82

Under the Snout membership, the $62 for the exam is automatically covered, as all memberships come with unlimited exams. Subsequently, Snout will bill the card you have on file for the remaining $20, covering the cost of the ear medication.

Q: How many vaccines does Snout cover?
A: Snout wellness plans are tailored to the needs of pets at different life stages. For puppies and kittens, the plan covers 8 vaccines per year to support their developing immune systems. For adult and senior pets, the plan covers 4 vaccines per year. In cases where your pet receives more than the covered number of vaccines during a visit, Snout will cover the cost of the 4 most expensive vaccines, and any additional vaccines will be immediately invoiced to the card on file.
